Heavy Date
Heavy Date was a B-17-G-95-BO Ser # 43-38788 built 21 Sep. 1944 and delivered to the 401st BG on 7 Nov of 1944. She was lost on 10 Apr. 1945 On a mission to Oranienburg Germany and crash landed on a German air base in Fassberg.

The photo of Heavy Date at right was taken in 1946 by an RAF pilot who was stationed at Fassberg after the war. Heavy Date remained there for a few years after the war, but no one seems to know what happened to her.
